The Global-Local Seminar is a seminar for the students from law schools and department of international and business law. The objectives of the seminar is to cultivate legal mind and ability to think practically by learning about the cases that foreign residents in Japan actually encounter. The Seminar has involved experienced lawyers and NPOs in Kanagawa Prefecture in discussions of the specific issues related to foreign residents and workers in the community. We conduct a case study with a speaker from United Nations High Commissioners for Refugees.
